The Office, which is based on the BBC hit Television series, is a comedy drama set in a sub-office of a paper merchant that unfortunately faces closure. Angela Martin, played by Angela Kinsey, is the head of accounting, and plays the uptight accountant at Dunder Mifflin paper supply company. If the running and balancing of accounts is not stressful enough, the news has spread of the companies plan for cutbacks and to downsize, and this office is one of the branches that faces closure. You can imagine how anxiety and tension grows within the employees. The manager thinks he is the most popular boss ever, cool and funny, but actual fact, this is not the case.

Biography

Angela Kinsey who has a warm sunny personality, came originally from Texas, but she actually grew up in Jakarta Indonesia and lived there for twelve years, she still speaks their language. She was born on the 25th June 1971 at Lafayette in Louisiana America. Angela graduated from Baylor University in 1993 and got an internship with Late Night with Conan O’Brian. She then moved to Los Angeles and took improvisation classes with The Groundlings and Improv Olympic Theatre.
Angela and her husband Warren are expecting there first child in May of next year and currently live in Los Angeles with their two cats.

Her Earlier Career

As a struggling actress she worked as a telephone operator for 1-800-Dentist whilst taking as many theater classes as possible. Angela made small one off cameo appearances in various sitcoms when starting her career. With her being a member of the Improv Olympic Theatre she has performed several times with the main stage troupes, and some of the performances include ‘The Armando Show’ and ‘Bitch Planet’. She is also talented where writing is concerned, and has written and performed several of her own shoes including ‘Tiny Blonde’ and ‘Linz & Kinz’, and also a member of the ketch show ‘Hot Towel’.
Did you know she originally auditioned for the role of Pam Beesly, the receptionist in The Office, but was told she was too feisty for that part.

Angela’s Achievements

In June 2007 she shared in the Daytime Emmy award for the Outstanding Broadband program-comedy The Office.
Her feature film credits include ’Tripping Forward’ and short film ‘Career Suicide’. ‘Career Suicide has been chosen to play as part of Moviefone.com’s short film festival.
This busy ladies Television credits include ‘All Of Us’, ‘Run of the House’, ‘King of the Hill’ and ‘Spy TV’.
One of Angela’s latest roles is in the romantic comedy about an engaged couple called ‘License to Wed’, she plays Judith the jewelry clerk in this film.
